Convocation address: Wear sunscreen

In 2003, the Harvard Business Review asked management writers, gurus and consultants whose ideas influenced them. Jim March, Professor Emeritus, Stanford University, was second on the list, behind Peter Drucker. On June 9 Dean Mike Percy presented the Honourary Degree of Doctor of Laws to James G. March. Dr. March’s poignant, poetic, and practical convocation address, entitled “Wear Sunscreen”, can be found here.

Irv and Dianne Kipnes honoured at convocation

The School warmly congratulates Irv and Dianne Kipnes for receiving the Honourary Degrees of Doctor of Laws at the U of A Convocation on June 8. Irv is a member of our Business Advisory Council and the School recently established the Dianne and Irving Kipnes Chair in Finance and Development.
